Ryan Downey

Ryan trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

A native Canadian, Ryan studied at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

He has a diverse range of stage experience, assuming such roles as Iago in OTHELLO, Theseus in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and Macbeth.

Ryan is a highly skilled Baritone singer, and recently appeared as Dom-Claude Frollo in THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME.

His fantastic physical presence, combined with powerful vocals, make him highly adept at playing both antagonists and heroic leads!
