Shelley trained as an actor at Rose Bruford in the in the mid 90’s.
Her career started whilst still in her third year of college when she landed the role of Mandy in Satellite City, BBC Wales BAFTA winning first English language sit com.
Shelley then spent time working in LA assisting a Talent Manager for a pilot season before moving to Australia. As well as 3 series’ of Satellite City, Shelley working on the original pilot of BBC’s High Hopes, comedy sketch shows and a number of indie feature films, alongside commercials and TV shows which of course included Casualty!
Since returning to the UK in the mid 2000’s, Shelley worked at the Wales Millennium Centre and the National Assembly of Wales. Skills leant in those huge Welsh institutions transferred well for setting up her first business in 2010 as an Agent and stage school principal. In 2015 she established The Talent Shack CIC in Cardiff, which proveds performing arts education to young people aged 4 to 18 and in 2019 gained at 74 seat theatre with funding from the National Lottery.
