Cari Barley

Cari is an experienced actress, with theatre credits for companies including the ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, SHERMAN THEATRE, THEATR NA NOG, WALES MILLENIUM CENTRE and EVERYMAN THEATRE.

She also writes professionally and has experience in devising theatre and puppetry with THEATR IOLO and SHERMAN CYMRU.  As a talented cellist and singer, Cari has also enjoyed working in musical comedy at the SOHO THEATRE.

Cari’s TV credits include CASUALTY, SHERLOCK (BBC) and PARCH (Boom Cymru).

Cari studied at the University of East Anglia in Drama and English Literature, before moving to train with the Impulse Company and Living Pictures, specialising in the Meisner Technique.  She has also trained with the Here Theatre NYC, National Youth Theatre, National Youth Opera of Wales and National Youth Theatre of Wales.

Cari is a fluent Welsh Speaker
