Mathew David

Mathew Graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2012. Later that year he featured in DA VINCI’S DEMONS alongside Hugh Bonneville.

His first lead role was in Iris Prize Produced Short film Burger. Burger premiered on the BBC and went onto to win Best Short for Acting and Direction at The Sundance Film Festival 2014. Mathew has continued to work with the Iris Prize, and this year is working on developing Iris Prize On Stage.

Other film credits include BAFTA Cymru Nominated Short SPOILERS (2016), and the lead role in multi-award winning A DELICATE LOVE (2017).

Films due for releasing in 2018 are; D-ICE AND D, directed by Los Angeles director Arkasha Stevenson (Channel Zero – Sci-Fi Channel), and feature film BIG GIRL directed by Thomas Rees. Other recent credits include work for CBS Reality, S4C and BBC Wales.

Mathew has also worked on the film PROUD BOYS with filmmaker Carys Lewis for the Welsh National Opera.

On stage Mathew has worked for FIO, National Theatre Wales, The Other Room, Addo Creative and Mercury Theatre Wales.
