Eve Pereira cast in “Pride and Prejudice” tour

Eve Pereira begins a tour of northern theatres this spring, playing Mary Bennett and Mr Bingley in a new adaption of Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill. 

It is a co-production between Bolton Octagon, Theatre By The Lake, Stephen Joseph Theatre, and Hull Truck Theatre, in association with Theatr Clwyd. It is being directed by Lotte Wakeham.  

When it comes to the subject of marriage, headstrong Lizzy Bennet is determined to resist the mounting pressures and expectations from society. But can she resist love, especially when the infuriatingly intriguing Mr. Darcy keeps popping up at every turn?!

With sharp humour and sparkling dialogue, this witty stage adaptation brings to life the classic story of love, misunderstandings, and second chances (with plenty of music and dancing).
