James Ashton
James Ashton trained at the NCDT drama school Queen Margaret’s in Edinburgh.
His on screen credits include a regular role on DA VINCI’S DEMONS (Starz), ONE CHANCE starring James Corden and Julie Walters, WHAT CAME AFTER (Wolf Fish Films) and BEING HUMAN (Touchpaper/BBC). He played the lead in short film ‘The Deafening Silence’, which won two IVCA Gold awards for Best Drama and Best Charity Film and came second in the worldwide Viewster Online film festival.
He also has extensive theatre credits, with his work including BEFORE I LEAVE and ALL FOR EACH AND EACH FOR ALL for National Theatre Wales, Bear Trap Theatre Company’s award winning production BOUND, and QUIET HANDS for Winterlight.
James is also an experienced voiceover artist, providing voices for radio, TV and computer games. James is also a writer and producer at Purple Hat Productions.
